Pinot Noir lovers, meet your new favourite. Andreas Bender Pinot Noir delivers the perfect balance of elegance and approachability—a beautifully expressive German red that’s hard to put down.

The Land & The Winemaker

Grown in the Pfalz (not Mosel!), this Pinot benefits from warm, sunny slopes tucked between the Haardt Mountains and the Rhine River. The climate allows the grapes to ripen slowly but fully, resulting in wines with both fruit clarity and sophistication. The man behind it, Andreas Bender, blends tradition with a subtle streak of innovation—co-fermenting plot selections to create consistency and style rather than vineyard-by-vineyard bottling.

What You’ll Taste

Pour this one and you’ll see a delicate ruby-red glow. On the nose—fresh strawberries, cherries, a touch of spice, and soft earthy notes. The palate is silky smooth, brimming with bright red fruits balanced by fine tannins and gentle, balanced acidity. There’s subtle warming from oak—think hints of vanilla, cedar, even clove—but it never overwhelms the natural fruit.

Why It Works at Bodega 1830

You want a Pinot that’s easy to drink yet leaves an impression—that’s Bender. It’s light enough to pair with creamy mushrooms or seafood, but nuanced enough to stand up beside richer dishes like lamb koftas or pork belly. It’s also vegan and organic, fitting our sustainable, flavour-forward philosophy.
