At Bodega 1830, tapas and Spanish dining culture are at the heart of what we do — so it’s no surprise that our wine list takes a lot of inspiration from Spain. After all, few places in the world celebrate the art of food and wine together quite like the Spanish. But while Spain forms the backbone of our cellar, we also love to explore beyond — bringing in bottles from France, Italy, Germany, Greece, and beyond to give our guests something truly special.

Spain at the Core

Spanish wines have a soulfulness that pairs beautifully with tapas. From the bold Riojas with their vanilla-kissed oak and dark fruits, to the lively, mineral-driven Albariños from Galicia, there’s a sense of history and place in every glass. Spanish rosés, especially those from Navarra, bring freshness to the table, while lesser-known regions like Jumilla and Priorat offer powerful, character-driven reds that surprise and delight.

For us, Spanish wines do more than complement our food — they echo the very spirit of Bodega 1830: vibrant, social, and built to be shared.

Beyond Borders

Of course, while Spain may be home base for our inspiration, our cellar is much bigger than one country. We believe wine is about discovery, and so our list stretches across the globe:

  • France: From elegant Chablis to the rustic power of the Rhône Valley, French classics are a must.
  • Italy: We love the food-friendly charm of Montepulciano and the crispness of Northern Italian whites.
  • Germany: Our Pinot Noirs and off-dry Rieslings bring a whole new perspective to pairing.
  • Greece & Romania: For those who like to explore, our list includes natural wines and lesser-known varieties that offer something unique and adventurous.

With over 150 bottles, our wine list reflects the richness of global winemaking while still staying true to our Spanish roots.

The Bodega Way

At Bodega 1830, wine is never just a drink. It’s part of the experience — whether you’re sipping a glass of Tempranillo with friends, or exploring something new with a recommendation from our team. By weaving Spanish tradition with global exploration, we’ve built a wine list that feels both authentic and exciting.

So whether you’re a Rioja loyalist, a Chablis lover, or someone looking to try their first orange wine, there’s always something waiting for you here at Richmond Mill.
